Polar bears in Scotland? Mysterious white creatures wash up on shores of Hebrides

POLAR BEARS may have washed ashore in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland and locals are baffled.

The remains of three large white animals were discovered by people living on the island of Colonsay in August.
Each carcass washed up in a different section of the island’s west coast.
They smelt badly and were covered in debris, but three months on the carcasses can be seen more clearly.
Images capture the white pelts visible underneath the debris, which has led locals to believe the animals are polar bears.
